*Although DC eventually found that titles under the Vertigo imprint sold better as trade paperback collections than as single issues, thus far, the only runs dating from the time of the imprint’s actual debut, in issues with March 1993 cover dates, that have to date been collected in trade paperback format are The Sandman: Brief Lives, Death: The High Cost of Living, and Sandman Mystery Theatre: The Tarantula. Although the “Sliding in the Wreckage” arc proper is in issues #64-66, trades are usually 8-12 issues (although 3-issue trades do exist), #74 is a good concluding issue for a future collection (#71 is not), and a new story arc begins the following issue.
