6 months agoThe whole “the owner takes a risk in starting the company” argument presupposes that that risk taking justifies the extraction of surplus value (theft). Here’s a counter example: What if I wanted to rob a bank. I go through all the processes, buying a gun, practicing aiming with it, studying the layout of the bank, training in hostage situations, and I take a significant risk by robbing the bank, considering I could be caught arrested and convicted by the police. Does that mean I’m entitled to any money I steal? Of course not! It’s a nonsense argument.
