1 day ago @Cold Beer  No, they want to destroy a system that fails the majority of the people. I have a master’s degree and spent the past eight years homeless because fewer than 1% of my job applications result in an interview in spite of going to 60+ people who have all been unable to help me improve that ratio. That’s systemic failure. I’m medically limited to a desk job, and Social Security won’t help me because my medical limitations don’t prevent me from doing a desk job, only capitalists prevent me from doing that.Show lessREPLY

13 hours ago (edited) @Scott Andrew Hutchins  It amazes me that you really think you are owed something. Just holding a degree does not make you employable. It takes more than that, you should know that by now after so many failures at interviews. And you seem to think you should start out at CEO pay, man, that that’s the “everybody gets a trophy” generation flaw right there. You should be happy to start at the bottom and work your way up, like I did. I also have a degree and my first job after getting it made me $15k per year in 1994, and it was a factory job. I now make just over $100k/yr, will not retire rich, may be worth $1 million all assets added together, but blame nobody or any system failures for not doing better. Stop being such a whiny bed wetter and get a damn job.Show lessREPLY

2 hours ago @Cold Beer  You’re an imbecile with weak literacy skills. This is evident by your claim of “so many failures at interviews” Only a stupid person equates not getting interviewed with failing at interviews, but there you’ve gone ahead and done it I am medically limited to a desk job due to scoliosis, herniated discs, sciatica, and tendinosis and have been denied Disability on the grounds that I can work a desk job.. “seem to think you should start out at CEO pa” I said nothing to even remotely imply that. Grow a brain, and please provide a detailed explanation how one obtains a job without a response to their job applications. You epitomize why the government needs to cancel all student debt. Telling a partially disabled person with a master’s degree to get a factory job? You don’t pay nearly enough in taxes.Show lessREPLY

2 hours ago @Cold Beer  I’ve gotten hired for approximately one in three jobs for which I’ve been interviewed, but all of them were stated short-term and ended when the project was completed, usually with a mass layoff. That’s not “so many failures at interviews” especially when for most of these jobs they were hiring only one candidate. Thanks for demonstrating your stupidity to the world.REPLY

58 minutes agoSo, by your own admission, you can’t land a career job? You are only good enough for temp employment? Sounds like you are just not a good employee then. Stop blaming “the system” for your own shortcomings, or maybe stop applying for jobs that your know you are not qualified for. BTW, getting hired 1 out of 3 attempts is piss poor, I have never been turned down.Show lessREPLY

19 seconds ago (edited) @Cold Beer  You have yet to make a logical, rational argument. “maybe stop applying for jobs that your know you are not qualified for.” If this is true, then the people posting the jobs are omitting significant qualifications from their posts. While most job postings have been taken down by the time I get a response, here is an example of a rejection less than two hours after I applied with the allegation that I am not a match despite everything for which they ask being on my resume: https://scottandrewhutchins.wordpress.com/2016/08/24/another-example-of-why-my-homelessness-is-entirely-the-fault-of-others-3/ Equating lack of interviews or being let go at the same time as everyone else with being “just not a good employee then” is also extremely illogical and irrational. As far as temp employment. Every temp service that has had me take ProveIt tests has shown me that my scores are in the 90s, but they claim they can’t find positions for me. I had several recruiters tell me that new hiring for office work was basically dead. Finally, you admitted yourself that you apply for factory work. This means multiple people doing the same job. You’ve made an apples to oranges comparison, which is a logical fallacy. As stated, I was applying for white collar employment in which there was a single opening. Therefore your claim, “getting hired 1 out of 3 attempts is piss poor,” is not a legitimate claim of shortcoming on my part. I can help you with logical reasoning and critical thinking for a price, but I suspect that you are probably unteachable.REPLY
