Truly Grade-F reading comprehenbsion skills.  Look how many times that they restate the problem incorrectly and contradict each other.  They really just have no standards for hiring people, because these people should not have been allowed high school diplomas with reading comprehension skills this poor.

I sent a message regarding TD Bank having charged me for the transaction to the International Wizard of Oz Club, when the record clearly shows that I used my Amalgamated MasterCard. I included an image of the TD Bank notice charging me $30 and two $35 overdraft fees for this supposed transaction. According to the response I got in the e-mail, you people seem to think that my dispute is with the seller. My dispute is with TD Bank, not the seller.

I have contacted the seller and explained that my dispute is not with them.

My bank closed the account, and customer service was not able to help me. There is clearly something wrong with PayPal if I can pay for something with one bank account, then have an account with a different bank claim that it was paid out of my account with them, when there is nothing involving them in the record of my PayPal transactions.

Here is the notice. The debit is just after 4 AM the day following the one PayPal transaction I have on my account that was paid with a different banks card. No one had access to my card, and it’s especially suspicious given that it’s the same amoumt of the purchase I made with the other bank’s card. TD has used it as an excuse to overdraft my account and sell it to a collection agency. I believe that is a criminal act.

You’re still not understanding. PayPal has no record of the TD Bank charge, nor have I received anything from PayPal about any transaction done with my TD Bank card. I’ve now several times sent a notice from TD Bank, however, stating that my account has fallen into the negative bewcause of the transaction. They gave me 20 days to deposit money I don’t have, then closed the account and sent it to a collection agency. Someone at TD is committing fraud via PayPal. They clearly hacked my account in anm attempt to make it look plausible. Make sure you have enough funds in your bank account before making transactions in the first place.

My God, you people are fucking stupid!!! The whole lot of you should be fired immediately! If I had actually used the wrong card, PayPal would have a record of it, but since you don’t, TD has done something it should not have done. I have tried talking to my bank about it. Customer service said that they couldn’t help and that the appropriate department would contact me within 203 days. That was Monday, and they have never called me back. Since they are using PayPal to conduct their mischief, I have to contact PayPal, even though there is no record of the transaction on PayPal.

Scott, it was not a wrong funding source. Once you are making a payment and you don’t have funding source in your account, PayPal will automatically get the money from your PayPal balance. Now, if there is no balance available, it will then charge your bank on file. At the time you made the payment, PayPal will process the payment right away which made your recipient receive the funds immediately. At that time, we will request the funds from your bank. The first time that the request will be denied, PayPal will request again. We are sending emails to you during the process. Due to insufficient funds, it will then charge your back up funding source which is the TD Bank Card so that your account will not encounter any problems in the future transaction you’ll made.

In order to get the funds deducted from the card or the preferred funds source you need to set a preferred funding source or else you can select the funding source while making the payment.

Here’s how to send money through PayPal:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Click Send & Request at the top of the page.
3.Enter the recipient’s name, email, or phone number.
4.Click Next.
5.Enter the amount and currency you want to send. ◦You have the option to add a note to the recipient.

6.If this is a new recipient, click Change and click either Sending to a friend or Paying for an item or service.
7.Select your shipping address if relevant.
8.Click Continue.
9.Review the payment method and select how you want to pay.
10.Review the amount, then click Send Payment Now.

Point 9 will help you with the question.

Bth my TD Bank and Amalgamated Bank accounts are connected to PayPal. I had no way of knowing when I clicked the button on the merchant’s site that you would attempt to take from one before giving me a choice. The fault is entirely on your end, and you ust make restitution.

There is no issue with the merchant, and the money ultimately came from the correct account. Base on this transaction the initial payment method to pay was from your bank account. PayPal funded the payments while waiting for funds to come to from your bank. However, the bank account was declined due to insufficient funds. So we attempted to collect the payment from the bank as we process this 2x before moving to another funds source. After the 2nd declined we move to your credit card to take payment. The funding hierarchy goes this way PayPal Balance to Bank Account to Credit Card
unless modified by account owner.

That is a lie. I selected the Amalgamated debit card. The messages above show that you went to my TD Bank account as some sort of default, hence the repeated mentions of a hierarchy by the previous representatives. I gave no consent whatsoever to draw from the account ending in 4771. If you continue to refuse to acknowledge this, I will have to file a small claims court suit.
